What is the Full Form of ITI ?

ITI - Industrial Training Institute


Industrial Training Institutes are training institute providing training for electrical mechanic, Computer Hardware, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, plumber, Carpenter, diesel mechanic, Welder, electrician, fitter etc. These institutes are constituted under the Ministry of  Labour, Government of India.

There are many ITIs in major cities of every state in our country, including : Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Gujarat and more.

Eligibility Criteria for ITI
A Person who has passed 10 standard (SSLC or SSC) is eligible for getting admitted to Industrial Training Institute in India. The duration of a course depends upon the trade opted by the aspirant from a basic course of 1 year to a diploma of 3 years. Each course is designed in such a way to impart basic skill in the trade specified.
