ATF – Aviation Turbine Fuel
Aviation Turbine Fuel is the special form of petroleum-based fuel used to power jet and turbo-prop engined aircrafts. ATF is known to be the kind of fuel, which is much higher in quality as compared to other forms of fuel used in transport and domestic heating.
This ATF is pumped into the aircraft using specially designed refuelers. There are 2 methods of pumping fuel in the aircraft: Overwing and Underwing. Overwind fuelling is similar to automobile fueling and is used for smaller aircrafts and helicopters. The later is used for larger aircrafts.
