The Computer Mouse is not an acronym and thus its full form doesn’t exist. A false etymology exists, claiming “Manually Operated Utility for Selecting Equipment” a full form of Mouse. Its name is derived from its shape, which looks a bit like a “mouse”.
The Computer Mouse is an input device used to select and execute objects on the computer screen. Moving the device on a flat surface can move the cursor on different items on the screen. It is the most common device connected to a desktop computer. Mice communicate with the computer either wireless or wired.
How does Mouse Works
A typical mouse has two button: left and right click, and a scroll. With the click of these buttons, the mouse sends information to the computer. This makes it an alternative device to interact with the computer beside a keyboard.
