CSR – Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representative, also known as customer service advisor (CSA) or customer service associate, is a professional who sits in a Call Center or BPO and deals with the customers on behalf of an organization, specially through telephonic conversation. They are the initial point of contact for the customers and their job is to answer queries, and assist them properly on company’s product or services.
CSR duties vary from product and service that the company provides. For example, a Customer Service Representative for Mobile company, may need to assist their customers in different queries: issuing a new sim, unblocking their sim card, information on recharging options, balance inquiry, activating or deactivating a service, etc.
Qualities to become a CSR professional include:
