HSUPA – High-Speed Uplink Packet Access
High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) is a 3G mobile telephony protocol in the HSPA family. The main aim of High-Speed Uplink Packet Access was developed to increase the uplink data transfer speed in the UMTS environment. It provides an up-link speed up to 5.76 Mbit/s.
Features of HSUPA :-
- It can be added to existing networks to increase upload speeds from compatible devices.
- It has a low latency with a TTI of 2 ms
- To reduce latency, fast packet scheduling has been adopted for the downlink.
- It provides Multicode transmission.
