IFB Industries Ltd originally known as Indian Fine Blanks Limited was incorporated in 1947 in collaboration with Hienrich Schmid AG of Switzerland. The company was established with the motto of manufacturing products like fine blanking tools press tools and fine blanked components.

Today, IFB has broaden its product portfolio. They operate in 3 segments, namely engineering, home appliances and others.

1. Engineering: Fine Blanked components, tools and related machine tools like Straighteners, Decoilers and Strip loaders.
2. Household Appliances: Washing Machines, Microwave ovens, dishwashers, Refrigerators, Air Conditioners etc.
3. Others: Automotive Products, Agro Products, Travel Systems etc.
