TFTÂ – Thin Film Transistor
Thin Film Transistor is a display screen technology used in Liquid crystal display (LCD). Thin-film transistors are the active elements that act as switches turning each pixel on and off. It can be made using a wide variety of semiconductor materials like silicon. TFT is also known as active matrix display technology because it uses a transistor at each pixel, which is arranged in form of a matrix.
