WHO – World Health Organization
World Health Organization is the United Nation’s agency, concerned with Public health Globally. The organization was formed on 7 April 1948, with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
The diseases which are in the priority list of WHO, include : HIV/AIDS, Malaria, tuberculosis, and handling issue related to food security, nutrition, aging, and sexual & reproductive health.
The organization is also responsible for conducting the worldwide Health Survey and celebrates the World Health Day on 7th April every year. It also publishes the Report on World Health, which is a leading international publication on health.
